Simin Han-Kalesija road closed due to landslide

Traffic in Bosnia and Herzegovina is difficult and slow. Due to low temperatures in lower areas, as well as in shaded parts of roads in higher areas, on bridges and near tunnels, we warn of icy conditions on the road surface, reports BIHAMK, according to the Patria News Agency.

- Road service teams are intervening on all sections where necessary, and we advise drivers to drive with maximum caution, to adjust their driving to the current conditions and the state of the roads, and not to set off without winter equipment. The section of the regional road R-419 Mihalji-Blidinje is open to passenger vehicles, while the ban is still in effect for trucks and buses. Due to an activated landslide, traffic is suspended on the section of the main road M-4 Simin Han-Kalesija (in Babajići). The detour via Dubrave is in operation. There are no long delays at border crossings. Due to New Year's Eve, the transport of explosives is prohibited in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina until midnight tonight - it was announced from BIHAMK.
