Why prosecutors do not summon politicians who claim there are terrorist camps in BiH

President of the BiH entity Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that "there are 113 Wahhabi groups in BiH, which occasionally carry out attacks on Republika Srpska as well".

Dodik said in an interview for Serbian media that "there are training centers in the Federation, which the police cannot enter, such as Maoča".

Dževad Galijašević, who claims to be a terrorism expert, also often speaks about alleged terrorist training camps in the media. Galijašević mentions BiH in the context of a large terrorist training center, which, he claims, is a threat not only to the country but to the entire region. Politicians and media in neighboring Serbia and Croatia also frequently place Bosnia and Herzegovina in a similar context.

Professor at the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies in Sarajevo Muhamed Budimlić told Patria that statements about the existence of terrorist camps in BiH are very serious, and that the competent institutions should hear all those who claim to have knowledge of any terrorist activities in the country.

- Anyone who mentions the existence of terrorist camps in public should be summoned by the prosecutor's office for questioning, to ask them why they did not report it – says Professor Budimlić.

- Preparation of terrorism is a criminal offense. Failure to report a criminal offense is a criminal offense. False reporting is a criminal offense. However, here these data are presented in public without any responsibility. In BiH, there is still no system that can bring to account those who influence the public – says Professor Budimlić, NAP writes.
