Pride Parade in Belgrade ends, more than 50 people arrested

The 2015 Pride Parade was held in Belgrade today, and according to reports from Serbian media, there were no incidents, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Parade participants arrived at the Belgrade City Assembly, which was the final destination of their procession.

With music, colorful balloons, and flags, participants danced as they waited for the march to begin. The parade was secured by a large number of police officers.

Police today arrested eight men wearing balaclavas on suspicion of planning an attack on participants of the "Pride Parade," among them Uroš Mišić, reported "Blic."

The arrests took place in Braničevska Street, and, as "Blic" reports citing unnamed sources, 54 people have been arrested so far.
