Renovation of Traffic Signage in Centar Completed

 

With the aim of increasing the safety of traffic participants, the Centar Sarajevo Municipality has launched a major project to renovate horizontal signage on streets throughout the central Sarajevo municipality, reports the Patria news agency.

The Municipality, which allocated nearly 64,500 KM from its budget for this purpose, engaged two construction companies, „Grakop“ and „Bosman“, with which it has signed an agreement for the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of local and uncategorized roads in the Centar municipality during 2015.

During the past period, the company „Bosman“ completed the project task of marking pedestrian crossings, horizontal and vertical traffic signage at 290 locations. 

The construction company „Grakop“ also completed this project at 91 locations.

In the budget of the Centar Municipality for 2015, an amount of 2,675,000 KM was planned for the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of local and uncategorized roads in the Centar area, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
