Investigation of traffic accident in Ivan tunnel on A1 highway completed, traffic normalization expected

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The investigation of the traffic accident that occurred in the Ivan tunnel, on the A-1 Tarčin-Bradina highway section, has been completed. The signage has not yet been removed, but we expect traffic to be fully normalized very soon.

With lighter traffic, this morning traffic is proceeding smoothly on most routes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with favorable weather conditions.

On Sundays, road repair works are reduced, but it is mandatory to observe the temporarily installed signage in those locations. Increased traffic intensity is expected in the afternoon and evening hours, especially on approaches to larger urban centers.

BIHAMK advises drivers to drive with maximum caution on all routes and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles. They ask truck drivers to temporarily pull over when they notice a long line of passenger vehicles behind them, in order to avoid risky overtaking.
