Prisoner escaped from Sarajevo prison after shooting

One prisoner escaped from the Sarajevo Penal Correctional Facility and a search is underway for him, N1 reports, carried by Patria agency.

Namely, according to unofficial information, the prisoner opened fire on guards and then escaped from this institution.

No one was injured in the incident.

Unofficially, after shooting, a masked person on a motorcycle was waiting for the prisoner in front of the Sarajevo Penal Correctional Facility building, and they escaped together.

According to unofficial information, it is Amel Sejfović.

Amel Sejfović is in prison for the robbery of Raiffeisen bank in Ilidža in 2015, during which cyclist Kemo Bašić was killed.

This is the second incident at the Sarajevo Penal Correctional Facility in the last month.

We remind you that previously, prisoner Edin Smajić left his cell and harassed other prisoners.
