Polls close in Montenegro, first results expected soon

(Patria) - Parliamentary elections are being held in Montenegro today, with six coalitions and five political parties participating. Polling stations closed at 8 PM. The first results are expected shortly.

In today's parliamentary elections in Montenegro, 409,880 citizens, or 75.9 percent of the total number of voters, exercised their right to vote, the CDT announced. In the 2016 parliamentary elections, turnout by 8 PM was 73.4 percent, and in 2012 it was 70.6 percent.

The police detained eighteen-year-old Filip Raičković, in whose possession an illegally held rifle was found, CdM unofficially learns. According to unofficial information from CdM, he is the son of DF activist Dimitrije Raičković. The police are currently interrogating him.
