Detained man Tarik Prusac, suspected of murdering his wife, requests extension of custody

(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office has proposed to the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo to extend the custody of the suspect Tarik Prusac for another two months due to the criminal offense of aggravated murder of a female person.

The extension has been proposed due to the risk that the suspect might repeat the criminal offense if released and due to the risk that his release could cause public unrest, the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office announced.

We remind you that on May 1st, Prusac used a service pistol owned by a security agency to kill his wife Elma Godinjak, with whom he was in divorce proceedings, and took their minor child from the Dobrinja settlement.

Police officers arrested him in Baščaršija.
