Detention Requested for All Those Arrested in Operation Lavina

The Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, together with their team of associates and investigators, after questioning the suspects, will submit to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina a motion for detention for the suspects arrested yesterday in Operation Lavina.

We remind that those arrested are Slavica Injac (1956), director of the RS Banking Agency, Snežana Vujnić (1961), director of the IRB, Petar Cacanović (1955), director of Bobar Bank from May 2010 to March 2014, Ana Mirosavljević (1978), director of Bobar Bank from March 2014, Sonja Kurtuma (1976), member of the Bank's Supervisory Board, Saša Tomić (1980), member of the Bank's Supervisory Board, Batrić Đurišić (1949), director of the Bank's Risk Sector, Zdravko Dubov (1957), internal auditor, Igor Prodanović (1974), deputy director of the bank and director of the Corporate Banking Sector.

The investigation in the case continues against a total of 24 individuals, suspected of illegal activities that caused damage of approximately 123 million KM and obtained illegal benefits of at least 115 million KM, seriously undermining the banking system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has already been damaged by approximately 56.7 million KM, which had to be paid out for deposits up to 50,000 KM, and for that amount, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been harmed.

Due to the great public interest, we are also publishing the list of depositors whose deposits have certainly been largely lost with the initiation of the liquidation of Bobar Bank and who have most likely lost the largest amounts, including institutions of public importance, thereby directly endangering the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, pensioners, persons seeking health care, etc.

The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and partner agencies continue the fight against illegality, with the aim of protecting the financial system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
