One-month detention requested for attacker of police officer

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of KS proposed one-month detention for Jasmin Bajić, suspected of the criminal offense of attacking an official person while performing security duties.

"Detention was proposed due to the risk that the suspect might repeat the criminal offense while at liberty," said Azra Bavčić.

We remind you that 19-year-old Bajić, while driving an Audi A4, ignored a police order to stop his vehicle, after which he began to flee towards Hadžići. During the police chase, Bajić hit a patrol car with his vehicle, causing it to overturn, and continued to flee. He hit a sand embankment with his car, after which he was subdued and arrested. Three police officers were injured.
