UN Security Council emergency meeting requested, Iran fired missiles at Israel

(Patria) - Semi-official Fars news agency reports that Iran's mission to the UN has requested an emergency meeting of the Security Council following US attacks on their nuclear facilities.

The mission described the US bombing as “obvious and illegal aggression” and demanded that the attack be condemned in the strongest terms. The mission also called for “all necessary measures within the Council's responsibility under the UN Charter to be taken so that the perpetrator of these heinous crimes is held fully accountable and does not escape punishment”.

This morning, Iran again fired missiles at Israel, and Israeli authorities urged citizens to “not publish locations and footage” of the attacks.
