MPs returned the budget to draft form, FBiH Government preparing Decision on temporary financing

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH has begun in Sarajevo, and after MPs' questions, a vote was held on the urgency of the procedure for adopting the FBiH budget, and the majority of MPs decided that it should proceed in draft form, not as a proposal as requested by the FBiH Government.

Thus, the Proposal of the Budget of the Federation of BiH for 2022, the Proposal of the Law on the Execution of the Budget of the Federation of BiH for 2022, and the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Budgets in the Federation of BiH will be considered as drafts according to the regular procedure.

The House of Representatives adopted the agenda, and before the FBiH budget, the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Allocation of Public Revenues in the FBiH, proposed by Salko Zildžić and a group of MPs, will be considered. This proposal has caused great dissatisfaction in Sarajevo Canton in recent days, as it concerns the weight of 2 intended for this canton.

The FBiH Government withdrew the Proposal of the Law on Material Support for Families with Children in the Federation of BiH from today's session.

Mirsad Zaimović, Speaker of the House, noted later that the FBiH Government will prepare a Decision on temporary financing today, and that an extraordinary session will be held tomorrow after the regular one to vote on that decision.
