Why would Zubac protect on 7 February the building he attacked in 1992 from Ilidža!?

The trial of Goran Zubac, director of SIPA, accused of negligent work in office for refusing to provide requested assistance during the violent demonstrations on 7 February in Sarajevo, when among other things the building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina was set on fire, for whose protection SIPA is directly responsible, is scheduled to continue tomorrow before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes the Patria news agency.

At tomorrow's hearing, on the invitation of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fahrudin Radončić, Nedeljko Škrba, Dragan Lukač, Dragan Golijanin and Blažan Trgić will testify about those events of 7 February.

However, what will not be discussed at this trial, and what has been spoken about by numerous associations of victims of the past aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, is Zubac's wartime past.

The Patria news agency publishes a facsimile of the original document that arrived on 1 August 1992 from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the so-called Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, signed by Toma Kovač, then chief of the SSJB (Serbian Public Security Station), in which he requests that Goran Zubac be appointed as deputy commander of the Border Militia of SSJB Ilidža.

The document shows that Zubac was a VES saboteur and that he has been part of RSM Ilidža since the beginning of the war conflict and that during that time he has shown the ability to perform the tasks for which he is proposed.

Incidentally, there is his biography which states that before the war Zubac was trained in numerous barracks, notably V.P. 5000 Pančevo, then actively participated in the arming of the Serbian people in Dobrinja, and was a participant in the first barricades.

At the beginning of March 1992, on the orders of Major Krstović, together with several other men, he carried out sabotage on Igman on the Bijela kosa route, mining and destroying roads.

That the actions were successful is confirmed by the radio, which in its news spoke about incursions by sabotage-terrorist groups.

Zubac participated in the first barricades, and afterwards led a military unit that took part in the battles in Ahatovići when more than 100 Bosniak civilians were killed. Due to the destruction of armored vehicles of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he earned the nickname Osa.
