Presidency Conclusion: SDP saves ruling coalition one last time with budget support

The Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of BiH praised the engagement and conduct of SDP deputies and delegates in the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, who with their votes helped adopt the FBiH budget for 2015. In this way, they prevented the financial collapse of the larger BiH entity and showed responsibility towards hundreds of thousands of citizens of the Federation whose existence is directly tied to the federal budget, reports the Patria News Agency.

This is the second and last time that the Social Democratic Party of BiH, despite being an opposition party, is saving the ruling coalition. The SDP will be an alternative to the ruling coalition and will fiercely criticize everything that is not in the interest of BiH citizens.

The Presidency was informed about the process of active re-registration of SDP BiH members, which lasted until March 31. After the completion of this process, the membership registration into the central information system began, based on which members, after settling membership fees and obtaining electronic membership cards, will gain the right to vote in the upcoming elections for presidents of municipal and cantonal/regional organizations, as well as in the elections for the new president of the SDP.

Presidency members unanimously adopted the proposals for the appointment of members of the Central Election Commission, the Cadre Commission, the Commission for the Preparation of the New Statute, and the Commission for the Preparation of the Revised Program of the SDP BiH, who are expected to be appointed at the next session of the Main Board. The agenda for the fourth session of the Main Board, which will be held on April 25 in Zenica, was also adopted, the SDP announced.
