Under the supervision of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, SIPA police officers are conducting search and arrest operations at multiple locations in the West Herzegovina region, targeting suspected individuals, the BiH Prosecutor's Office announced.
The activities are led by a prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime, and Corruption, who is coordinating the work of several dozen police officers in the field, as well as communication with colleagues in Croatia.
This is an international operation codenamed “Tebra“ being carried out together with the Croatian Bureau for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime (USKOK).
The individuals under investigation are suspected of participating in drug smuggling. Following searches and arrests, the suspects will be handed over to the acting prosecutor, who will decide on further actions in the case.
