Joint action by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS and SPS: 224 migrants found in Hadžići

(Patria) - Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS and the Service for Alien Affairs continued to implement measures and activities in accordance with the Operational Plan adopted by the Director of the Service for Alien Affairs and the Police Commissioner of the Police Administration.

During the operation, 224 migrants were found at two locations in the municipality of Hadžići and transported to the Field Office for Alien Affairs located within the Ušivak Reception and Immigration Center, for further measures and actions by inspectors of the Service for Alien Affairs.

On July 16, 2019, 8 migrants were found in Valtera Perića Street, Centar municipality, and were accommodated in the Ušivak Reception Center.

The joint implementation of measures and activities aims to prevent and sanction all forms of illegal behavior by migrants, their accommodation, as well as other activities related to migrants, given that their uncontrolled influx, stay in open and public spaces, as well as improvised accommodation capacities not intended for that purpose, especially in the urban area of Sarajevo, can affect the deterioration of the security situation in Sarajevo and create risks of infectious diseases.
