Government Request: Prosecutor's Office to Investigate the 'Feroelektro' Case

At today's session, the Federal Government adopted the Information on the newly emerged problems related to holding the extraordinary Assembly of the company „Feroelektro“ d.d. Sarajevo, it was announced from the Government, as reported by the news agency Patria.  

In this regard, the Government instructed the Federal Ministry of Trade, as the coordinator of activities with allocated material-technical, expert, legal and other forms of assistance from the Agency for Privatization of FBiH, to continue the initiated actions and take all necessary measures to overcome the newly emerged problems with the aim of holding the Assembly of „Feroelektro“ and implementing the decisions of the FBiH Government regarding the dismissal of the president and members of the current election of the Supervisory Board in the new composition for which the FBiH Government gave prior consent.

The Federal Attorney's Office was instructed to submit information and available documentation to the competent prosecutor's office regarding the facts related to obstructing the holding of the Shareholders' Assembly of „Feroelektro“ for the purpose of assessing whether the actions of the president and members of the current Supervisory Board contain elements of criminal offenses, negligent business operations, abuse of official position or other criminal offenses in the field of business operations.

Also, the Federal Attorney's Office was instructed to take all necessary measures before courts and other competent authorities to protect the legal interests of the Federation of BiH as the majority shareholder in „Feroelektro“, the statement reads.
