In seven days (from October 31 to November 6, 2014), according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton report, 218 traffic accidents occurred, in which 25 people sustained minor and serious injuries, and one also died, writes the BH News Agency Patria.
On average, more than 20 accidents occur daily in Sarajevo Canton, and pedestrians are the most frequent victims. The devastating statistics also show that in the past seven days, 63 people were removed from traffic during regular traffic controls for driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Controls also revealed 50 individuals driving without a valid driver's license.
Today alone, by noon, two traffic accidents were recorded in which two people were injured.
