First Police Directorate receives BAM 33,000 from Centar Municipality

Centar Municipality Sarajevo, led by Mayor Nedžad Ajnadžić, continues the long-standing tradition of procuring equipment for members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. The latest example of this is assistance for the procurement of computer and digital equipment for the First Police Directorate – Centar Police Station in Marijin Dvor. Centar Municipality allocated BAM 33,300 for the procurement of the mentioned equipment, Patria reports.

Namely, although the Municipality, as a local self-government unit, does not have direct jurisdiction in the area of security, it has been allocating significant financial resources for years to improve the quality of police work, thereby ensuring safer living conditions for its citizens. 

In line with the above, and at the request of the First Police Directorate – Centar Police Station, Centar Municipality yesterday announced a tender for the selection of the most favorable bidder for the procurement of computer and digital equipment.

We remind you that in the last few years, this local community has allocated over 220,000 marks for equipping the police, and as has been emphasized, this support will continue in the future.
