Who is Tadić working for: 'Višković case' proved political control over the Prosecutor's Office

The BiH Prosecutor's Office must become a credible institution that people will trust, and it is currently far from it. Articles and articles, analyses and analyses have been written regarding claims that the BiH Prosecutor's Office is under political control. The latest case of Radovan Višković showed that the Prosecutor's Office, namely Gordana Tadić, is completely controlled by HDZ and SNSD.

It sounds incredible that the BiH Prosecutor's Office, despite having knowledge since 2017, and it will turn out even earlier, has not dealt with the Višković case. He even became prime minister, and they formed a case only after the public 'started talking', and those who know the situation better would say when he came into conflict with Milorad Dodik.

If it were not so, Višković would have been invited for questioning long ago; this way, every subsequent reaction is conditioned by public pressure or political desires. This is a fact that the BiH Prosecutor's Office can hardly deny.

The media in Republika Srpska are compromising the testimony of a protected witness, whose identity they also revealed, claiming that he has absolutely no credibility, especially because it is known that he has serious psychological problems. 

Interestingly, dozens of indictments against Bosniaks originate from protected witnesses. That did not bother them, not even the evidence that they were instructed in Belgrade what to say. The BiH Prosecutor's Office has no credibility anymore. It is incredible that the allegations regarding Radovan Višković's participation in the events in and around Srebrenica in July 1995 were not investigated!?

However, members of the Fifth Corps, led by Atif Dudaković, are being tried today because they launched an offensive after three and a half years of bloody siege of the Bihać Krajina. The court does not want to see this, they say it is not the subject of this indictment. But it is the subject of injustice, and injustice causes frustration. 

Should the BiH Prosecutor's Office and the public be reminded that the Dudaković case and others are not from the 'A list' of the Hague Tribunal. The question is, where are those 850 cases from the 'A list' of the Hague Tribunal; they are still open today.

It is undeniable that everyone should be held accountable for committed crimes.

But there must be order. How else can one explain to people that the period before 1995 and the suffering of Bosniaks and Croats in besieged Bihać cannot be mentioned in the BiH Court, how can it be explained to normal people that, for example, no indictment has been filed for Goražde against those forces that shelled and killed Goražde, while numerous indictments are filed for people who defended Goražde. 

Unfortunately, General Sakib Mahmuljin and Ramiz Dreković, as well as numerous other prominent commanders and heroes of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are subjected to the same persecution, with court proceedings against them before the BiH Court.

Dreković is being prosecuted for one shell fired at Kalinovik, they even arrested him, and we do not have a single indictment for thousands of shells on Konjic, Sarajevo, for the murder of 1,601 children. Members of the ARBiH and General Nehru Ganić prove that the attack on Čemerno was a legitimate military action against the aggressor's artillery position which had been sowing death for days on Breza, Visoko, Ilijaš in early '92, they justify that there was no joint criminal enterprise, and any layman can see it, except for the prosecutor who failed to conduct a thorough and lawful investigation. 

The Appellate Panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina definitively acquitted Ahmet Sejdić, former commander of the First Višegrad Brigade of the Army of RBiH (ARBiH) and a hero of the defense of Goražde, of all charges by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, but none of the prosecutors will be held accountable for this false indictment. There are no sanctions. Naser Orić was also acquitted in the same way. 

The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina thus complied with only four out of a total of 32 recommendations given in an earlier report from 2016 by British judge Joanna Korner for improving work on war crimes cases.

Although in every country the process of achieving justice has been postponed due to the coronavirus, it is a little different in BiH. Due to the political control of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, justice in BiH has been postponed for a slightly longer period.
