Over 667 million in taxes collected for January and February

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH collected public revenues in the amount of 667,383,324.00 KM in January and February 2016, which is 51,396,338.00 KM more than in the same period in 2015, or expressed as a percentage, 8.34% more, reports the Patra news agency.

In February 2016, a total of 348,340,573.00 KM was collected, which is 31,812,400.00 KM more than in February 2015, or expressed as a percentage, 10.05% more.

Direct taxes and contributions in February 2016 were collected in the amount of 348,252,968.00 KM, which is 31,781,934.00 KM more compared to February 2015, or expressed as a percentage, 10.04% more.

Contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, despite a significant decrease in the number of employees due to early retirement, were collected in February 2016 in the total amount of 235,894,052.00 KM, which is 10,399,302.00 KM more compared to February 2015, or expressed as a percentage, 4.61% more.

- The FBiH Tax Administration will continue to take measures and actions within its competence aimed at collecting public revenues - said the FBiH Tax Administration.

 

            The Tax Administration thanks taxpayers who fulfill their legally prescribed obligations, citizens who contribute to uncovering those who work illegally, and the media who contribute to raising overall civic awareness about paying taxes.
