Search Continues for Davud Mešinović (2) Who Remained Alone in Syria

The international criminal-police organization INTERPOL is still searching for the two-year-old Bosnian citizen Ismail Davud Mešanović as a missing person, reports the Patria News Agency.

Incidentally, Interpol states that Davud disappeared on December 15 last year in Belluno, Italy. Although Davud was born in Italy, he is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His mother is Solano Herrera Lidia, while his father is Ismar Mešinović, a Bosnian who died on the Syrian battlefield. It is assumed that he took little Davud with him, as his mother had left them earlier.

Ismar's family, his brother and father, never gave up searching for Davud, for whom they previously claimed not to have known he was in Syria. However, to this day Davud has not been found, and information from Syria indicated that after Ismar's death, Davud was handed over to some women of Bosnian origin in a camp.
