16 traffic accidents on Statehood Day in Sarajevo Canton

In the past 24 hours, a total of 16 traffic accidents occurred in the Sarajevo Canton area, of which 15 involved material damage and one involved casualties, in which one person sustained minor injuries, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- Due to driving under the influence of alcohol, 9 drivers were removed from traffic, 4 persons for driving without a valid driver's license, 2 motor vehicles due to expired registration, and 5 unregistered motor vehicles - it is stated.

Incidentally, yesterday, due to the Statehood Day holiday, vehicle flow was reduced, which was certainly a reason for the lower number of accidents on the streets of Sarajevo.
