X introduces audio and video calls

(Patria) - The social network X has started rolling out the audio and video call option globally.

This news is not surprising, considering that CEO Linda Yaccarino confirmed the arrival of this option back in August.

This is another step in X's evolution towards an all-in-one application, just as owner Elon Musk intends.

Some X users have been greeted with the message "Audio and Video calls are here!", which includes instructions for using the new features and setting them up.

The new options can be found in the "Settings" section for Direct Messages.

Not all users will receive a notification about the new option, which is enabled by default, reports Nova.rs.

Therefore, it is probably a smart move for users to check if the feature is already active and decide whether they want to keep it or not.
