Washington Diplomatically Announced Bombing to Tehran

(Patria) - The United States has diplomatically announced to Iran the bombing of its nuclear facilities through diplomatic channels.

According to CBS, the US diplomatically contacted Iran on Saturday to state that the attacks are exclusively American plans and that no regime change in Tehran is planned, sources said.

Earlier this week, several US officials told CBS News that Trump opposes the plan to assassinate Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader.

Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke after the attacks, officials said.

Iranian state media confirmed early Sunday morning local time that their Fordo nuclear site was attacked, activating air defenses, according to the Associated Press.

According to information from Iranian officials, the targeted nuclear facility locations had been previously emptied.

Shortly before the US attack on Iran, the 19th wave of attacks on Israel was launched from Iranian territory.
