Vujanović with oil companies: Will fuel prices drop at the pumps?

MOSTAR, (Patria) - Federal Minister of Trade Zlatan Vujanović (SBB) will hold a meeting today with leading representatives of the management of the most significant oil product distributors in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Representatives of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs will also attend the meeting.

The topic of the meeting is the current situation related to the increase in retail prices of oil products at petrol stations. Prices have increased several times in a short period.

It is expected that this will also affect the increase in prices of other services, as well as basic foodstuffs. Political parties have demanded a reaction from the authorities to stop the "wild" rise in fuel prices. On Sunday, roads and traffic routes were briefly blocked in several BiH cities at 5 PM, with citizens, primarily drivers, expressing their revolt due to the increase in fuel prices. 

- Taking into account the current situation and all calculative data, which are integral elements of the calculation of retail prices of oil products, the meeting participants will analyze all available modes in accordance with the law, with the aim of finding and urgently implementing concrete measures to reduce retail prices of oil products - it was stated from the Government of FBiH.
