Vučić on official visit to Austria, investments main topic

VIENNA, (Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is on an official visit to Vienna, at the invitation of Austrian head of state Alexander van der Bellen.

Vučić spoke last night in Vienna with representatives of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and Austrian businessmen who already operate in Serbia or intend to invest in Serbia.

The President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Christoph Leitl, presented Vučić with the "Grand Decoration of Honour", the highest award of the Austrian Chamber, Tanjug reports.

The Serbian President will be welcomed with military honours in front of the Austrian Presidency on Friday.

It is also planned for Vučić to meet with Austrian President Alexander van der Bellen, Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, and finally with the President of the Austrian Parliament Wolfgang Sobotka.

In addition to economic topics, it has been announced that regional cooperation and Serbia's approximation to the EU will also be discussed.
