Vučić in Brussels: Serbia committed to EU membership, peace and stability

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić attended a working dinner in Brussels organized by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa.

Vučić stated that Serbia is firmly committed to its strategic goal, EU membership, and remains a reliable and responsible EU partner in all processes contributing to the peace, stability and prosperity of our citizens.

Vučić noted on his Instagram account that he discussed with EU officials Serbia's European path, energy security and stability of Serbia, as well as the situation in the region.

He added that he exchanged views with the hosts on all steps Serbia has taken towards implementing reforms and fulfilling its assumed obligations.

"We paid special attention to the energy sector, with a focus on energy security and stability of Serbia. We also discussed the momentum in the European enlargement policy, the situation in the region, as well as possibilities for accelerating our European path," Vučić concluded.
