Vučić accuses neighbors of forming a military alliance against Serbia

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated today that he used his presence at the military parade in Beijing to see "what would be interesting to acquire for the needs of the Serbian Army so that it would be a deterrent factor for any potential aggressor from the neighborhood".

- Pristina, Zagreb, and Tirana did not accidentally form a military alliance. And they did not form it because of Austria, Hungary, or Slovenia, but because of Serbia. They formed it against Serbia - said Vučić.

At a press conference in Beijing, Vučić said that Serbia will not provoke anyone, but will strengthen its army to "protect its territorial integrity".

Speaking about the Chinese military parade and the potential procurement of weapons from that country, Vučić said that Serbia is not interested in Chinese ballistic and hypersonic missiles, but that China has top multi-purpose aircraft and modern helicopters.

He explained that he had meetings with representatives of 11 companies, with whom he also discussed the introduction and use of flying cars in Serbia.

- The companies are from various fields. The application of artificial intelligence will mean a lot to us in the future. We had meetings with significant energy companies.

We held talks with the company Xpeng about flying cars. I believe that by next year, by December 1st, we will be able to show how they work in Serbia and that they will be in use during the EXPO 2027 exhibition in Belgrade - stated Vučić.

Croatia, Kosovo, and Albania signed a joint declaration in Tirana on March 18, which, as stated, strengthens cooperation and emphasizes the importance of joint responses to security challenges, hybrid threats, and other risks that could endanger regional stability.
