I did not promise to bring Arabs to BiH, but they asked me and I said all the best about your country, said Aleksandar Vučić, Prime Minister of Serbia, who is on an official visit to Sarajevo today.
Vučić was asked about economic relations and the arrival of investors in Serbia from the Gulf countries, and he spoke about the economic relations between the two countries.
- I think they care about our opinion just as they care about ours. We rejoice in success, and I say this most openly. A richer BiH is better for Serbia too - said Vučić.
He thanked the Prime Minister of BiH, Vjekoslav Bevanda, for his hospitality and said that "no one forced him to come to Sarajevo".
- I cannot be ordered around. That is for those who say that Europeans or Turks are doing it. We cooperate well. I am a rational person and I came to solve the minor problems we have. I want to tell the citizens that Serbia and BiH are the most important partners. In the first quarter of this year, we have an increase in trade exchange compared to last year by 20.9 percent. Exports from Serbia to BiH increased by 28 percent, and vice versa by 18.1 percent - stated Vučić.
He added that since 2005, Serbia has invested 842 million euros in BiH and is the second largest investor. He said that they agreed on solving the problems with the purchase of a factory in Prijepolje and discussed the implementation of CEFTA.
