Vučić: No one can insult or threaten by recalling murders, Bosniaks will be protected

(Patria) - As for the events in Priboj, I haven't seen all the details, it is my duty to tell Bosniaks in Serbia that this is their country, just as much as it is mine, just as much as it is all of ours. They will be absolutely safe and protected, the Serbian state will not allow any incidents, said today the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

He commented on a video of a celebration for the birth of a child of Dragan Zeković, a police officer from Priboj, in which, as video footage shows, nationalist and war-mongering songs were sung about Vukovar, Srebrenica, Sjenica and Novi Pazar.

Asked how he comments on that video, Vučić said that no one can agree with insulting other peoples.

"Of course no one can agree with insulting or threatening members of other peoples by recalling the murders of innocent people," Vučić said.

As for the relations between Serbs and Bosniaks, we must understand that we cannot live and survive without each other.

"And the sooner we realize that, the better it will be for both sides," Vučić said.
