HJPC schedules interviews with candidates for Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH) will hold a session on September 26 and 27, and after adopting the by-laws on the session's agenda of the HJPC BiH, the process of scheduling interviews with candidates for the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina will begin, confirmed by the HJPC for Patria. 

Ten applications were received for the competition for Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. The current acting Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić applied for the competition, and has been performing the function since September 2016 after the then prosecutor Goran Salihović was suspended. 

The following prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH applied for the competition: Diana Kajmaković, Dubravko Čampara, Saša Sarajlić, Ismet Šuškić, Miroslav Janjić, Miroslav M. Marković, Seid Marušić. One prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton, Ćazim Serhatlić, also submitted his application. 

For the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor, 17 candidates applied, including some of the candidates for Chief Prosecutor.
