Heatwaves and roadworks are complicating travel through BiH

SARAJevo, (Patria) - On the A-1 highway due to works on the bridge on the Sarajevo sjever - Podlugovi section, traffic is two-way, using the opposite lane from the works zone, while due to the reconstruction of the descending ramp of the Visoko interchange from the direction of Sarajevo and the ascending ramp from Visoko towards Zenica, traffic is slow, using one lane, it was announced by BIHAMK.

Works are underway in the Crnaja tunnel (Konjic - Jablanica), due to which traffic is one-way, with alternating vehicle passage, between 8 PM and 5 AM.

Works are being carried out in the Čaklovići tunnel on the Tuzla - Kalesija road (Simin Han - Caparde section), where traffic is suspended between 10 PM and 6 AM and redirected to an alternative route via Dubrave. During the day, passenger vehicles from the direction of Tuzla travel through the tunnel, and from the direction of Kalesija, they use the bypass around the tunnel. Trucks are directed to the road via Dubrave even during the day.

Due to ongoing works, traffic is also slower on the Srebrenik - Orašje (Ćehaje), Doboj - Rudanka, and Hutovo - Stolac (Cerovica) sections.

At border crossings, there is occasional increased traffic, but delays are currently not longer than 30 minutes.
