In the Banja Luka settlement of Vrbanja, which is largely populated by Bosniaks, a polling station has also been opened where citizens are voting in an unconstitutional referendum on whether January 9th is RS Day, writes Patria.
As reported by a reporter for the Patria news agency, Bosniaks are not participating in the referendum, while Serbs have been coming to the polling station since seven o'clock this morning.
Police presence has been increased in Vrbanja, and no incidents have been recorded.
According to initial data at nine o'clock, with 77 percent of voters processed, seven percent of registered voters have cast their ballots. Voter turnout in Banja Luka is 7.48 percent.
