Vranić - Katana: Problem of engaging speech therapists at KS Health Center resolved

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton Haris Vranić today, at a meeting with the Director of the KS Health Insurance Fund Sakib Katana, resolved the problem of engaging speech therapists at the Public Institution Health Center of Sarajevo Canton.

"Given that the Ministry has given consent for the engagement of speech therapists, and the Fund has secured the necessary financial resources, it is now up to the director of this public health institution to carry out the necessary legal procedure and hire this type of medical staff," said Vranić, after today's meeting.

He also called on the Director of the Health Center to immediately contact the Fund, so that this activity can be initiated and carried out as soon as possible.

This will definitively resolve the problem related to the interruption of these services and the suspension of hiring speech therapists at the Public Institution Health Center of Sarajevo Canton, which occurred for some unknown reasons.

Both parties to today's meeting sent a reassuring message to parents, saying that their children will very soon have the opportunity to receive the necessary help and support from speech therapists.
