Vranić: Sarajevo Canton Health Center will pay for PCR tests for parents of the girl from Kakanj

(Patria) - Muriz Gadžun, the father of the girl from Kakanj, who fell into a coma during a routine ophthalmological surgery at a private clinic and whose doctors are now fighting for her life, stated that they have to do a PCR test every time to enter the hospital, to the intensive care unit where the girl is being treated.

They do it privately. He also said that it costs money and that they are not in a good financial situation. It takes them two days to get the test results each time. They paid 220 marks privately the other day.

The Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton, Haris Vranić, stated in a statement to Patria that the Public Institution "Health Center" of Sarajevo Canton will pay for PCR tests for Amira and Muris Gadžun, the parents of the girl.

- I have arranged for the "Health Center" to take over PCR testing without the parents paying, given that the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS) does not do it - said Minister Vranić.
