Driver arrested after hitting woman on pedestrian crossing yesterday

(Patria) - The woman hit by a car yesterday in the Sarajevo settlement of Dolac Malta sustained severe life-threatening injuries.

According to the report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton Police Directorate, the woman was hit on the pedestrian crossing by a BMW X3 driven by A.N.

The duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office visited the scene with an investigation team from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton Police Directorate, and due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of serious offenses against public traffic safety, the driver was deprived of liberty and handed over to the detention facilities for detained persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton.
