Volunteers in the largest ecological action to collect 10,000 tons of waste

The volunteer action "Let's do it - let's clean the Earth in one day" will be organized on April 26 and 27 in 110 municipalities throughout BiH. More than 50,000 volunteers will contribute to this action to collect 10,000 tons of garbage.

The project leaders are the Association of Citizens "Ruke" from Sarajevo and "Mozaik prijateljstva" from Banja Luka.

The action was first realized in 2012, and this year's novelty is separate waste collection, and the collected packaging waste will be recycled.

The main goal of the action is to raise awareness about the importance of the environment, and the action is intended for cleaning illegal garbage dumps and other natural areas.

The cleaning action was also assessed as significant by the EU Delegation to BiH, and they will also join this project this year.

The Let's do it action is the largest ecological volunteer project in BiH.
