Serbian Army and Police on High Alert After Kosovo Special Forces 'Attack' at Gazivode

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić ordered Chief of General Staff Milan Mojsilović to place the entire Serbian Army on the highest combat readiness due to an attack by Kosovo special forces on Serbs in northern Kosovo, Serbian media report. 

Sixty special forces members of the Kosovo Police Special Unit ROSU entered the Center for Ecology and Sports Development, in the immediate vicinity of the Gazivode hydroelectric power plant. Serbian media claim they allegedly surrounded the lake and arrested people employed at the power plant.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Internal Affairs Nebojša Stefanović ordered the Director of Police to place all special and special police units on the highest alert, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
