(Patria) - Changi Airport in Singapore has once again been named the best international airport in the world at the prestigious SkyTrax competition.
This comes as no surprise to those who have had the opportunity to explore this giant aviation hub in Southeast Asia, which covers an area of about 13 square kilometers, reports Punkufer.hr.
Their capacities have recently been expanded - more precisely, the Terminal 2 space has been expanded and refreshed, so one can see a stunning garden with 20,000 plants, enjoy a local specialty in a restaurant with a panoramic view of the airport, and even encounter a robot waiter serving free cocktails to passengers.
The most interesting novelty is certainly the 14-meter-high digital wall named The Wonderfall, located at the departure terminal.
It is actually a giant curved LED display, 17 meters wide, showing a continuous flow of water accompanied by an original composition by pianist Jean-Michel Blais.
The stunning sight, blending nature and modern technology, was created to entertain passengers while they wait for their flight.
If you look more closely, in the rushing water you will see a rainbow and a few fish, as well as a bird flying over the waterfall.
Every half hour, a special four-minute show begins that will engage all the senses.
