Partizan Fan Leader: Aleksandar Stanković - Sale Mutavi Killed

Aleksandar Stanković (29), also known as Sale Mutavi and publicly presented as one of the leaders of Partizan fans, was killed on Thursday evening in Belgrade, reports the Patria News Agency.

According to unofficial information obtained by B92, Stanković was killed as he was entering his Audi car at the intersection of Bačvanska and Gospodara Vučića streets.

During the incident, a man with the initials M.Đ. was seriously injured, who Belgrade media report was a guard at the Central Prison.

It is also speculated that he was recently employed by the Ministry of Justice, but resigned and worked as a bodyguard for the murdered Stanković.

A statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the shooting occurred around 9 PM, that one man was killed, and one person was injured, with a note that the police are intensively searching for the perpetrator of this criminal offense.

Media speculate that the clash occurred due to unsettled criminal accounts, and that the "Montenegrin mafia" is responsible for the execution of Stanković.

Although Stanković was the subject of the Insajder show, where it was stated that he had been evading serving a prison sentence for drug trafficking for years, the wider public only learned about him when it was announced that he participated in an incident in front of the FK Partizan stadium.

During that incident, the security guard of the Belgrade club's director, Miloš Vazura, was seriously injured, but although he was captured on video surveillance, no criminal proceedings were initiated against him.

In that case, other Partizan fans, Veljko Belivuk, were convicted and sentenced to one year of house arrest, and Darko Ristić to 21 months in prison.

Stanković was one of the leaders of the fan group "Janjičari" which, after the arrest of a large number of members of the group "Alkatraz", following the death of Brice Taton, took over the dominance in the south stand of the stadium in Humska Street.

Previously, Stanković was one of the prominent figures at the stadium of Partizan's eternal rival, Crvena zvezda, also as one of the fan leaders.
