Healing Water: Crni Guber from Potočari Soon to Enter the Russian Market

The first shipment of the medicinal water Crni Guber could soon be heading to the Russian market from the former "Feros" plants in Potočari, writes the BH news agency Patria (NAP).

The Government of Republika Srpska, according to well-informed sources from this place, has already granted a local businessman a 30-year concession, who plans to bottle this water and send it to the Russian market.

The healing properties of Crni Guber water, which springs in Potočari in eastern Bosnia, have been known since the 19th century, with records from that period. They state that it was determined that the minerals in this water help in the treatment of skin diseases, especially in the treatment of leprosy, which affected a large part of Austria-Hungary at that time.

Dr. Almir Pašagić, a native of Srebrenica who now lives and works in Sarajevo as a family medicine doctor, wrote in his book "Guber, Medicinal Water from Srebrenica" that Crni Guber is particularly effective for anemia due to its high iron content.

- In addition to anemia, Crni Guber has been recorded to help in the treatment of poor appetite, constant fatigue, psoriasis, eczema, acne, joint and bone rheumatism, multiple sclerosis, sinus diseases... - stated Dr. Pašagić in the book.

The Crni Guber spring in Potočari also represents an excellent tourist potential for this place, writes NAP.
