Council of Ministers has a lot on its plate tomorrow: Appointment of the Police Officers' Appeals Board on the agenda

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The BiH Council of Ministers will hold a session on Thursday, with numerous items on the agenda. It is possible that the agenda will be supplemented with the Decision on Temporary Financing for the period January-March 2022. 

Ministers will consider several draft agreements on projects financed by the European Union and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, including sections of Corridor 5c.

Also on the agenda is the Draft Decision on the ratification of the Agreement on Amendments to the Financing and Project Agreement concluded on 17.12.2019 ("Original Financing and Project Agreement") between KfW, Frankfurt am Main ("KfW"), and Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Recipient"), represented by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, and Republika Srpska, represented by the Ministry of Finance of Republika Srpska and the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology of Republika Srpska ("Project Implementing Agency") in the amount of EUR 10,000,000.00 - Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings, the Draft Decision on the ratification of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on Joint Border Crossing Locations and the Annex to the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on Joint Border Crossing Locations for the joint location at the Bratunac (new bridge) - Ljubovija (new bridge) border crossing, and the Draft Decision on the ratification of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on Border Crossings.

The Proposal of the Decision on approving funds from the current reserve of the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2021 to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina will also be considered.

And one of the burning issues on the agenda is the Proposal of the Decision on the appointment of members of the Police Officers' Appeals Board at the proposal of the BiH Ministry of Security, which has not existed since May, and numerous processes have been halted, such as the admission of cadets to the BiH Border Police and appeals by police officers against disciplinary measures.
