Tavern owner imprisoned two women, then pimped and raped them

Police in the Valjevo tavern owned by Vladimir Tulimirović (63), on the outskirts of the city in the Belo Polje neighborhood, broke up a prostitution and human trafficking ring.

Inspectors found two women there who, it is suspected, the owner of this catering establishment forced into providing sexual services. Three men whom he forced into forced labor were also discovered. Tulimirović was immediately arrested and remanded in custody for up to 30 days, reports the Patria news agency.

As “Novosti” unofficially learns, when MUP members raided the tavern, they found a room equipped with sex toys. There they encountered four men – customers, with one of the women. She was in such a severe psychophysical state that she received assistance at the Emergency Center of the General Hospital in Valjevo.

Tulimirović is charged with holding three thirty-year-old men and two women aged 19 and 55 in house arrest for more than two months. Allegedly, he hired them as waiters, but they had no idea they would be locked up and that he would not pay them a single dinar for their work in the tavern. The older woman, it is unofficially learned, was forced into prostitution and waitressing, and he even raped her.

This tavern once served as a wholesale business, which Tulimirović used to run. Later, for a time, it was a nightclub, i.e., a strip bar, and then a tavern.

“The women were forced into prostitution upstairs, in the rooms. The three men were also housed there, locked in rooms next door,” a source close to the investigation told “Novosti”.

For years, it was an open secret that Tulimirović, known by the nickname Megas, organized prostitution in his tavern. These were mostly older women who engaged in this in Valjevo. Their customers were most often truck drivers, given that the house is located along the main road to Loznica.

Tulimirović has previously been arrested for economic crime, violent behavior, and assaulting police officers.
