Government dismisses Esed Džananović from the position of Executive Director at Elektroprivreda BiH

The FBiH Government today gave prior consent to the Supervisory Board of the Public Company Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo for the adoption of the Decision on the dismissal of Esed Džananović from the position of Executive Director for Distribution – a member of the Management of this public company. The Supervisory Board of JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo is tasked with initiating the procedure for announcing a public competition to fill this position as soon as possible, writes Patria.

In order to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of Elektroprivreda BiH and the performance of electricity distribution activities, as well as the authorizations of the Executive Director for Distribution, as defined by the Statute and other acts of the company, the FBiH Government today gave consent to the Supervisory Board of Elektroprivreda BiH to temporarily assign the authorizations held by the Executive Director for Distribution to the General Director Bajazit Jašarević.

The temporary transfer of these authorizations lasts until the completion of the competition procedure for the election of the Executive Director for Distribution of this public company, and for no longer than three months.

In the latest Decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, which relates to the imposition of restraining orders on Esed Džananović and others arrested in the framework of the Bosna operation, it was stated that the suspected executive director of Elektroprivreda BiH carried out illegal employment exclusively on orders from his party, writes Zurnal.info.
