US Government Recognizes Security Agency Officials for Kandić's Arrest and Extradition

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in BiH, Paul Horowitz, and FBI Resident Agent, John Bivona, presented FBI Director's certificates of appreciation to officials and officers of security agencies and law enforcement agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina as recognition for their contribution and assistance in the successful arrest and extradition of Mirsad Kandić.

The officials and officers who received these recognitions are employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, the Border Police, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the Service for Foreigners' Affairs, and SIPA.

In his address, Chargé d'Affaires Horowitz spoke highly of the security agencies and law enforcement institutions for their excellent mutual cooperation and coordination, as well as cooperation with the US Government. Mr. Horowitz emphasized that the fight against terrorism can only be successful through joint efforts.
