Through the KS Budget Rebalance, the KS Government will allocate six million KM for the procurement of healthcare equipment for the Public Institution "Health Center", the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš", and the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, confirmed the Prime Minister of KS Elmedin Konaković, reports Patria agency.
It is known that both hospitals have problems with CT and MRI machines, and the procurement of new machines is necessary. Likewise, the General Hospital is left without its only DPX machine for measuring bone density, which was transferred to that hospital at the request of the Director of KCUS, Sebija Izetbegović.
What is needed for the well-being of all citizens of KS, as well as all those being treated in these hospitals, is the material and personnel strengthening of all capacities.
The General Hospital has three excellent orthopedic surgeons in its team starting today: Dr. Hasan Tanović, Dr. Semin Bećirbegović, and Dr. Senad Maksić.
On the other hand, more than 40 doctors have left KCUS in the past period. Three doctors, Dr. Alen Karić, Dr. Bedrudin Banjanović, and Dr. Harun Avdagić, transferred from UKC Tuzla to the Clinic for Cardiovascular Surgery at KCUS a few days ago.
