KS Government to Organize Participation of BiH Businessmen at EXPO

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The KS Government will organize the participation of BiH businessmen at EXPO in Dubai, confirmed KS Prime Minister Edin Forto today.

"It is the economic map of the world, and if you are not there, then you are nowhere. That is why we thought it was important," said Forto. 

KS Minister of Economy Adnan Delić said that businessmen from BiH can participate in the fair itself.

"Preparations for BiH's participation in Dubai have been underway for several years, a free stand was offered, but the state authorities did not find funds for the fair, and we took it over and are looking for a financial structure. The procedures are extremely complex, there are rules that companies must meet, and I hope we will manage to do it in 15 days. The investment of countries in the region for EXPO is around 20 million KM, and we will allocate a few million KM. We will invite all political entities involved in the government, entity and state governments, to help us and be our wind at our backs. This concerns the economy and survival, and I hope no one will use it for other purposes," said Delić. 

He said that an organizational team will be formed, which will include all political entities in KS, all chambers of commerce, and entity representatives to help organize the fair. 

It is estimated that 25 million people will pass through Expo in six months.

"Companies are not able to represent themselves, but rather the sector they come from, under the state flag (tourism, wood industry). It is a fair of states, and the potentials of states are presented, with 192 states participating," said Delić.

Davor Čičić, KS Minister of Finance, said that the KS Government decided to find a way and support businessmen in going to EXPO at all costs.

"It is difficult to estimate how much it will cost us, but we have a declarative stance that we will find funds in the rebalance, which is in progress, by the end of the year, so that businessmen can go and present themselves in the best possible way," said Čičić.
