FBiH Government tasks Elektroprivreda with preparing mine reorganization plan

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The FBiH Government adopted the information from the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry on the state of the mining sector of the JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. Sarajevo concern and tasked this company with preparing, within 90 days, a reorganization plan individually for each mine, as well as a plan for its own economic-financial, technical-technological, social, and security reorganization aligned with the Restructuring Program of the energy sector in the Federation of BiH.

The mine reorganization plans are to be adopted by the management bodies of each mine individually, as well as by the management bodies of JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. Sarajevo.

Elektroprivreda BiH is obliged to monitor the dynamics of the implementation of the reorganization plans and report to the FBiH Government quarterly through the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry.

Elektroprivreda BiH and ZD Rudnici uglja (Coal Mines Public Institution) are tasked with analyzing the situation concerning second-category disabled persons within 60 days.

The analysis should include, among other things, the cause and year of service at which the disability occurred, professional qualifications, the workplace where the disability occurred, the new workplace and a brief description of the duties and justification for that assignment, and other relevant factors.

This company is also obliged to continue and complete investment expenditures in coal mines for the period 2019-2022 and, within 30 days, prepare an analysis of investment expenditures in coal mines for the period 2010-2018 and report on it to the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry.

The need to continue and accelerate activities on concluding a new Collective Agreement on the rights and obligations of employers and workers in the mining sector in the Federation of BiH was also highlighted.
