FBiH Government Sends Financial Police and Inspections to Zavod Pazarić

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Government of the Federation of BiH at today's session held in Sarajevo was briefed on information from the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy regarding reports from the management structures of social welfare institutions founded by the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Government of the Federation of BiH concluded today to send the Federal Financial Police, the Tax Administration, and the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs to the Institute for the Care of Mentally Disabled Children and Youth Pazarić, and they will have seven days to submit reports to the FBiH Government.

Minister of Labor and Social Policy Vesko Drljača (SBB) stated that they sought the best solution for the Institute for the Care of Mentally Disabled Children and Youth Pazarić after shocking data was presented at the session of the Federal Parliament, as reported by director Redžep Salić.

"It was the Government's obligation to do something urgently regarding social welfare institutions. We tried to see what the core problem was, so we requested that all institute directors comment on the report at the session of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH. The institute directors confirmed the reports, except for the director in Pazarić," Drljača said, adding that the Government will provide a more detailed statement after gathering all information about the situation in Pazarić, both from competent institutions and ministries for specific areas.
